The Recourse badge

Who may display it. The badge may be displayed only by: (a) platforms and businesses with an active Recourse account in good standing whose terms of service, contract, or offer actually names Recourse as the dispute venue for the transactions where the badge appears; and (b) parties to a currently witnessed email thread or group chat, within that engagement. Displaying the badge where the venue is not named misrepresents dispute rights to your users and is prohibited.

What it may not imply. The badge states that disputes have an independent venue. It may not be presented as insurance, a guarantee of outcome, buyer or seller "protection," an endorsement of your products, or a statutory certification (Recourse is not yet a certified DSA Article 21 body — see Terms §1).

Form. Use the files above unmodified: no recolouring, stretching, cropping the seal, or re-wording. Scale proportionally; minimum width 180px; keep clear space of at least the seal's radius around the badge. Link it to recourse.so/badge.

Revocation. The licence to display ends automatically when the account closes, falls out of good standing, or the venue is removed from the applicable terms — and Recourse may revoke it on notice where display is misleading. Continued display after revocation is trademark misuse.
